नेपाल विद्यार्थी संघ, त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय समिति नेपाली कांग्रेसको आदर्श, नीति र सिद्धान्तलाई मार्गदर्शनका रूपमा लिएर विश्वविद्यालयभित्र अध्ययनरत विद्यार्थीहरूको हक–अधिकार, शैक्षिक गुणस्तर, नेतृत्व विकास र लोकतान्त्रिक मूल्य–मान्यताको संरक्षणका लागि सक्रिय एक सशक्त विद्यार्थी संगठन हो। त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय देशकै सबैभन्दा ठूलो शैक्षिक संस्था भएकाले यहाँको विद्यार्थी राजनीतिले राष्ट्रिय राजनीति तथा शैक्षिक नीतिमा महत्वपूर्ण प्रभाव पार्ने गर्दछ।
नेविसंघ टीयू समितिले क्याम्पस–क्याम्पसमा विद्यार्थीका समस्या पहिचान गरी समाधानको पहल गर्ने, शैक्षिक सुधारका एजेन्डा अघि बढाउने, विद्यार्थीहरूलाई लोकतान्त्रिक अभ्यासमा संलग्न गराउने तथा सक्षम नेतृत्व उत्पादन गर्ने उद्देश्यका साथ क्रियाशील रहँदै आएको छ। यसले शैक्षिक स्वतन्त्रता, स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियन (FSU) को प्रभावकारी सञ्चालन, पारदर्शी प्रशासन, शैक्षिक संरचनाको आधुनिकीकरण र विद्यार्थी–मैत्री वातावरण निर्माणका लागि निरन्तर दबाबमूलक तथा रचनात्मक भूमिका निर्वाह गर्दै आएको छ।
राष्ट्रियताको संरक्षण, लोकतन्त्रको सुदृढीकरण तथा समाजवाद उन्मुख आर्थिक–सामाजिक परिवर्तनमा विश्वास गर्ने विद्यार्थीहरूको साझा थलोका रूपमा, नेपाल विद्यार्थी संघ टीयू समितिले युवा–विद्यार्थीलाई जिम्मेवारीपूर्ण, अनुशासित र राष्ट्रप्रति प्रतिबद्ध नेतृत्वका रूपमा तयार पार्ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिकामा रहेको छ।
The Nepal Student Union, Tribhuvan University Committee is an active and strong student organization that follows the ideals, policies, and principles of the Nepali Congress. It works for the rights and welfare of students studying within the university, the improvement of educational quality, leadership development, and the protection of democratic values. As Tribhuvan University is the largest academic institution in the country, student politics here has a significant influence on national politics and educational policy.
The NSU TU Committee has been working actively with the objective of identifying student issues across different campuses, initiating solutions, promoting educational reform agendas, engaging students in democratic practices, and producing capable leadership. It has continuously played both a pressurizing and constructive role for academic freedom, effective operation of Free Student Union (FSU), transparent administration, modernization of academic structures, and the creation of a student-friendly environment.
As a common platform for students who believe in nationalism, democratic strengthening, and socialism-oriented socio-economic transformation, the Nepal Student Union TU Committee plays an important role in preparing youth and students to become responsible, disciplined, and committed leaders dedicated to the nation.
